WHAT IS OWNER'S ENGINEERING?

It is a service contracting model in which the management of all stages of the work is transferred to a company specialized in the subject.

The name owner's engineering comes from the fact that, with this model, the contracted company becomes the owner's eyes within the work.

A company contracted to carry out the owner's engineering is responsible for forming the engineering and administration structure necessary to carry out a given work.

In addition, of course, she has a duty to see that the schedule and budget are adhered to, and to report to the contractor on the progress of the work.

That is, the owner's engineering involves not only the supervision of the works, but the active management of it and all the steps that precede it.
